The Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) training is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques. It is a comprehensive course, which begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and risk avoidance, as well as the basics of hands-on defense training. R.A.D. is not a martial arts program. The courses are taught by nationally certified R.A.D. instructors and provide each student with a workbook/reference manual. The course includes lectures, discussions, and self-defense techniques, suitable for women of all ages and abilities.
This LEAD Series workshop will delve into the importance of emotional intelligence in leadership roles, and how to practice empathy towards others and with oneself.
