Technology loan returns

Please see below for important information regarding your student status and returning your equipment loan. 

Return Deadlines

Graduated Students

If you graduated during the fall 2023 semester, you are required to return all borrowed technology as soon as possible.  The final due date for returns is Friday, June 7, 2024.

Continuing Students

Borrowed technology is due when you graduate, are no longer enrolled at Cal State LA, or by the end of this academic year:  June 7, 2024.  Return equipment you no longer need using the steps below.

Unenrolled Students

If you are not enrolled in classes for spring 2024, you must return all borrowed technology as soon as possible.  The due date for borrowed technology was December 21, 2023.

Technology Return Process

Our technology loan team is available to assist students with their loaned technology requests and drop-offs during these times during the week:

  • Mondays:  9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

  • Tuesdays:    9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

  • Wednesdays:   9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

  • Thursdays:    9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

  • Fridays:   9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Technology returns must be made at the Dean of Students Office, located in the Student Services Building, on the fourth-floor room 4380.

Please remember to  return  the equipment in the original box it came in and all included accessories (chargers/adapters). Please remember to have your CIN ready or bring your Student ID card for verification.    

If you are unable to make your selected return date and time, you may also send a designee.  Please ensure they have your complete CIN and full name.
