PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION

Due to the high participation rate of our graduating students, most of the Cal State LA Commencement ceremonies will be at capacity, and we suggest making use of a range of parking locations or utilize several alternate options getting to the Los Angeles Convention Center. In addition, the venue is located in the vibrant and lively heart of downtown Los Angeles so please plan accordingly.

PARKING AT THE LOS ANGELES CONVENTION CENTER

The Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) offers convenient parking underneath West Hall. There are two entrances to the West Hall parking garage and they are located at:

Pico Boulevard between Figueroa Street and L.A. Live Way
and
L.A. Live Way between Pico Boulevard and Chick Hern Court

     Important Information

  • Designated ADA parking is available but it is subject to availability. Vehicles utilizing accessible parking spaces must display the appropriate placard, tabs, or license plates.

  • Parking flat rate is $25 as long as the vehicle is parked by 6 p.m.  After 6 p.m., prevailing rates will apply depending on the event(s) at Crypto.com Arena, Peacock Theater, The Novo, and L.A. Live.

Credit cards and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) are accepted as payment at the garage entry kiosk. The LACC operates a non-contact, cashless garage. Cash or checks are NOT accepted.

  • In-and-out privileges are not permitted, and no overnight parking is allowed.

ADDITIONAL PARKING

There are several garages and parking lots near and around the Los Angeles Convention Center, and their parking rates will vary.

To find additional parking spots, attendees can use Spot Hero, a digital parking marketplace that connects drivers looking to reserve and pay for parking spaces with parking lots, parking garages and valet services.

Spot Hero is not affiliated with Cal State LA or the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Several modes of public transportation can be used to reach the Los Angeles Convention Center.
