FAQs

WILL THERE BE AN IN-PERSON COMMENCEMENT?

Cal State LA’s in-person Commencement will take place on Wednesday, July 21, through Friday, July 23, and Monday, July 26, through Thursday, July 29. The ceremonies will be college-based. The ceremonies will take place at Cal State LA’s baseball stadium, Reeder Field. An outdoor venue on our campus will allow the greatest opportunity to celebrate, while taking the necessary measures to keep everyone safe. We are modifying the baseball field for this special event. Additional seating and shade structures will be added to the field in anticipation of the weather. Each graduate will be allotted six guest tickets. We will also livestream the ceremony so all of your family and friends will be able to enjoy the celebration of your achievement.
