Washington Monthly ranks Cal State L.A. #7 in Masters Programs out of 671 universities for their contribution to the public good based on three broad categories: Recruiting and graduating low-income students, producing cutting-edge scholarship and PhDs, and encouraging students to give something back to their country. We’re #4 on the list of public university master programs. Moving up from #18 to #7 reflects our university focus on building student success, community engagement and a collaborative culture.
