CSULA Department of English | Events

CSULA will host the Latin American Film Festival January 27 through March 10, 2011. The films included in the series range from Fernando de Fuentes early epic Vámonos con Pancho Villa to Luis Alberto Lamata's recent historical film Miranda regresa, el héroe de tres revoluciones.

Films will be screened on Thursday evenings from 6pm-8pm in Salazar Hall E-184. Admission is free and all screenings are open to the public. The Latin American Film Festival is jointly sponsored by the Department of Chicano Studies, the Department of English, Latin American Studies, the Universidad de Guadalajara at Los Angeles, and Unión Latina.
