CSULA Department of English | Events

Jennifer Caloyeras will be reading from her debut novel, Urban Falcon, on Monday, April 12 at 3:10-4:20 p.m. in the English Department Seminar Room (E&T A631). Jennifer is an alumna of the Master's program in English at CSULA.

Urban Falcon deals with a multitude of contemporary teen issues such as peer pressure, sex and the discovery that parents aren’t perfect. David Poulsen, author of more than thirty young adult novels says, “Funny, sad, wonderfully written, and always on-the-money authentic. If there’s a Hall of Fame for great fictional teenage characters, Evan Falcon should be inducted immediately.”
