Tier 1: Master of Arts in Educational Administration & Preliminary Administrative Services Credential Program

This Program is designed for aspiring administrators who have successful years of teaching experiences.  CaliforniaStateUniversity, Los Angeles (CSULA) offers the best deal in town, offering both a Master of Arts Degree and a Tier 1 Credential in just ONE year and final assessment.  The quality of the Educational Administration (EDAD) programs at CSULA is recognized by thousands of alumni who are working as administrators in the greater Los Angeles area.

Upon successful completion of the 54-quarter unit program, the candidate receives the Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration and the California Preliminary Administrative Services (Tier I) Credential.  The Tier I credential licenses candidates for all administrative and supervisory services, pre-kindergarten through grade 12 in California public schools.

Accepted candidates are placed in a cohort that meets two evenings a week for 11-week per quarter.  The classes meet from 4:20 to 8:00 p.m.  We also have off-campus cohorts that meet at various local schools in collaborating school districts.
