The Bachelor of Science in Engineering may be earned in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in Engineering with Special option. Programs leading to the Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org. All accredited programs are required to provide the following minimum level of instruction: one year of mathematics and basic sciences; one and one-half years of engineering science and design (engineering topics); and one-half year of humanities and social sciences.
The Department of Computer Science offers an undergraduate degree in Computer Science. This program is designed to provide an excellent foundation in all core areas of computer science with the opportunity to choose electives in a variety of specialized fields.
The Department of Technology offers undergraduate programs in Aviation Administration, Fire Protection Administration, Graphic Communications, and Industrial Technology. Graduates of these programs are employed in a wide range of careers including supervisors, managers, management representatives, trainers, technical support specialists, analysts, planners, and teachers.
