We are pleased to announce the Janice Cordova Garden of Well-Being Student Art Contest!
Students are invited to submit pieces of original artwork representing the natural world that convey some or all of the themes featured in the Janice Cordova Garden of Well-Being: Relaxation, Healing, and Transcendence. You can learn more about the themes on the garden website.
The winning artwork will be reproduced and displayed on the glass door and windows of the Student Health Center building adjacent to the center of the garden.
The deadline to submit the original, two-dimensional visual art pieces is Feb. 10, 2023. Please fill out the form below.

Submission Requirements
- Entrants must be currently enrolled Cal State LA students.
- Each submission must include the student artist’s name, title of the artwork, and a brief explanation of how the artwork addresses the theme or themes.
- Entries will be reviewed based on artistic quality, representation of the natural world, and inclusion of one or more of the garden’s themes: Relaxation, Healing, and Transcendence.
