Lecturer: Clinical fieldwork supervisor. Temporary faculty positions with the possibility of renewal for additional semesters.
On-going. Positions will be filled as needed for each academic semester
Candidate must have an appropriate degree from an accredited university (bachelor’s degree and substantial teaching experience for lower division courses; master’s degree for upper division undergraduate courses; doctoral degree, or master’s degree and substantial teaching experience for graduate courses). Candidate should have training, experience, or possess the appropriate credential or equivalent in the area to be supervised. A valid Administrative Services credential or equivalent with experience supervising in the credential area is also considered. Experience in coaching and supervising students in fieldwork placements for Multiple and Single Subject credential programs. Observations are conducted during K-12 school hours. Must be able to use electronic observation forms and attend bi-annual training for fieldwork supervision.

Extensive preschool-12 public school experience.
Formally observe and evaluate each student teacher a minimum of six times throughout the semester. Complete a variety of assessment measures documenting each student’s mastery of Teacher Performance Expectations.
The salary schedule information for the faculty lecturer: Academic Year-month Classification is available based on the following ranges: (per salary schedule 7/1/2022)
Lecturer A/2 Full-time equivalent Salary Range: $4,530 - $6,056
Lecturer B/3 Full-time equivalent Salary Range: $5,405 - $11,994
Lecturer C/4 Full-time equivalent Salary Range: $6,190 - $13,172
Lecturer D/5 Full-time equivalent Salary Range: $7,794 - $13,797
The anticipated monthly hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Most new lecturers are hired at the Lecturer A or B rank.
