Graduate Assistant

Degree-seeking graduate student in the School of Kinesiology and Nutritional Science to perform instructor assistance. Graduate Assistants must be registered in a CSU graduate degree program and must be enrolled in courses towards the completion of that graduate degree during the appointment period. Applicants should have the ability to relate well to others within the academic environment, and demonstrate ability and/or interest in working in a multiethnic, multicultural environment.

Appointments as a Graduate Assistant are made based on evidence of academic achievement, potential for academic success and expressed interest in, and availability for, performing the duties of a Graduate Assistant.
Under the general supervision of the instructor for the specific course, provides classroom/lab assistance; helps in test grading and proctoring of exams.
Current Graduate Assistant rate for 5-20 hours per week.
