Golden Eagle Building

The 120,000 square foot Golden Eagle Building is the located in the center of the CSULA campus. Comprised of two adjoining structures separated by a promenade, this building houses food services, including a food court with seating for approximately 750, kitchen and catering operations, a 600-seat banquet and conference center, the University Club restaurant, 25,000 square-foot two-story University Bookstore (operated by Barnes and Noble College Stores, Inc.), as well as UAS administrative offices, the University's Office of Research & Sponsored Programs (ORSP), the Golden Eagle Service Center, classrooms and meeting spaces for the CSULA Extended Education Division and the Pat Brown Institute.

Historical Facts

• Three-story structure comprised of two adjoining buildings
• More than 78,000 square feet
• Architects: HGA /Tate Snyder Kimsey
• Occupies the site of the University's former cafeteria.
• The Eagle's Landing (old cafeteria) demolished in June 2001
• Principal Construction: Fall 2001 to Summer 2003

• Food Court with multiple quick serve restaurants
• The University Club Restaurant
• Conference/banquet/meeting venue, including a six hundred seat ballroom
• 850 square foot state of the art Conference Room
