Cal State L.A. University Auxiliary Services, Inc. (UAS) is an auxiliary component of the California State University, Los Angeles, incorporated in 1985 as a nonprofit organization under the laws of the State of California. The primary purpose of UAS is to help develop and administer contracts and grants, commercial enterprises, externally funded projects including research, workshops and conferences and provide contributions which aid and supplement the University's educational mission.
UAS supports the Cal State L.A. community in many different ways. Through its managed and leased operations, the surplus generated by UAS each year is returned to the University in a variety of ways such as scholarships, donations and facility improvements.
The policy-making responsibility of the corporation is vested in its Board of Directors whose members represent a cross-section of the campus community and local service area. As we move ahead into the future, UAS remains resolute in its commitment to enhancing the quality of life on this campus, to improving all commercial services, and to providing the University community financial support that would otherwise be unavailable with state funds. UAS has evolved into a dynamic and vibrant organization of committed professionals that share, with their University colleagues, a common vision of excellence and dedication to making Cal State L.A. the premier urban University in the United States.

Cal State L.A. University Auxiliary Services, Inc. is a recognized organization in the California State University system and is a nonprofit, self-sustaining corporation, dedicated to benefit the welfare of students, faculty and staff. The primary purpose of UAS is to help develop and administer contracts and grants, commercial enterprises, externally funded projects including research, workshops and conferences and provide contributions which aid and supplement the University's educational mission. Working together, the University community and Cal State L.A. University Auxiliary Services, Inc. are partners in an endeavor to ensure Cal State L.A.'s continued success.
