Cal State L.A. is Here 4 You—the students!
Freebies abound for students across campus
To help students succeed in progressing toward achieving their degrees, Cal State L.A. offers many campus services and amenities at no extra cost to students. In fact, the University has recently launched a “Here 4 You” campaign to build student awareness of resources on campus and to help foster a culture of success at Cal State L.A. for all its students.
To learn more, look for the “Here 4 You” logo on the CSULA News Facebook page for posts that pertain specifically to students, and keep an eye out for all the “freebies” on campus.
For example, this Tuesday, Feb. 21, the Center for Student Financial Aid will offer free workshops regarding the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at noon and 2:30 p.m. in the University-Student Union, San Gabriel Room.
Throughout the quarter, the Associated Students, Inc. provides a free pencil, bluebook and scantron for every CSULA student (limit one each per day). During midterms and finals weeks, the Center for Student Involvement organizes free Help Week activities.
Also, students may attend many free department-sponsored lectures, concerts, exhibits, performances and events, as well as CSULA’s regular-season athletic home games with proof of a student I.D. For campus events and activities, click here: http://www.calstatela.edu/calendar.
