62nd Commencement highlights
More than 5,000 degrees for Class of 2009
With about 20,000 family and friends in attendance, the two-day Commencement at Cal State L.A. June 12-13 was a festive and colorful celebration of thousands of graduates looking forward to their futures as civic leaders, engineers, performers, entrepreneurs, community advocates, educators, scientists, health professionals, artists, lawyers, social workers, accountants, computer programmers, and more.
