Physical Education

The Physical Education building contains Eagles Nest Gymnasium where Cal State L.A.'s men and women's basketball teams and women's volleyball team play. You might recognize the gym because it was also where the movie Coach Carter was filmed and where the 1984 Olympic Judo competition was held. The Mural on its side commemorates the Olympic Games.

The adjoining facilities and nearby pool also get a fair amount of traffic, as they are where most of the physical education and kinesiology classes take place. Students burn calories while earning credits in aerobics, yoga, swim, dance, kickboxing and more.
