Thousands of Cal State LA students to graduate during Commencement 2017

More than 4,000 California State University, Los Angeles students will be donning caps and gowns when they receive diplomas during the 2017 Commencement from May 20 to 22.

Commencement will feature nine separate ceremonies at the University Stadium in the Billie Jean King Sports Complex. Thousands of people are expected to attend each ceremony. Graduating students will have their names called out as they walk across a large stage and shake hands with Cal State LA President William A. Covino.

"I am extremely proud of our graduates and all they have accomplished," Covino said. "They will become part of a distinguished alumni community that includes inventors and innovators, citizens and civil leaders who learned on this campus and have become standard-bearers for Cal State LA and its mission of engagement, service, and the public good."

University parking is free for all Commencement ceremonies. Graduating candidates and guests will be directed to parking structures A, B or C (blue level). Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. Click on the following link for a Commencement map showing parking areas and other venues.
