Recent poll reveals reduced number of uninsured CSU students

Cal State L.A. hosts press briefing to announce poll findings pertaining to Covered California enrollment

WHAT:         California State University, Los Angeles to host a press briefing on Thursday, June 12, to reveal results from a recent poll taken of California State University (CSU) campuses. The findings indicate major reductions in the number of uninsured CSU students during the Covered California open enrollment period.

WHO:           Cal State L.A. President William A. Covino, Dr. Walter Zelman, director of the CSU Health Insurance Education Project and chair of Department of Public Health. Cal State L.A. students who have signed up for the Covered California or Medi-Cal will be on hand to answer questions.

WHEN:         Thursday, June 12, 2014, 11 a.m.

WHERE:       Student Health Center, Multi-Purpose Room (second floor), on the Cal State L.A. campus. The University is located at the Eastern Avenue exit, San Bernardino (I-10) freeway, at the interchange of the 10 and 710 freeways.
