About 40,000 guests are expected to visit the California State University, Los Angeles campus during Commencement 2018. Plan accordingly and arrive early to find parking or consider using public transit.
Commencement 2018 will feature 14 separate ceremonies at the University Gymnasium in the Billie Jean King Sports Complex from May 21 to 25.
Graduating students and their guests will be allowed to park at no cost in Structure C and Lot 5. Accessible parking will be available at no cost for graduating students and their guests in Lots 3 and 8. Parking for faculty and staff will be available in Structures B and C. Shuttles will be available to transport graduating students and guests from the Transportation Center, Structure C and Lots 5 and 8 to the University-Student Union.

The Main Walkway from the gymnasium to the University-Student Union will be transformed into a festive village with photo areas, food booths, flower vendors and stroller parking. Alternative Commencement ceremony viewing locations will be set up in the Golden Eagle Ballrooms.
The Cal State LA Transportation Center is serviced by L.A. Metro and Foothill Transit bus lines that connect the campus to the greater Los Angeles region. The center also has a Metrolink train station. For more information about public transit options, see the Parking and Transportation website.
