Cal State L.A.'s track and field team finished its season on a high note when sprinter Gregory Veals earned All-American honors after turning in a top performance in the 100 meters at the NCAA Division 11 championships.

Veals finished seventh with a time of 10.52 at the Grand Valley State Track and Field Stadium in Allendale, Michigan. His stellar finish earned him All-American status for the second year in a row.

The top eight finishers earned All American honors, a distinction that relatively few college athletes experience. For more information about Veals and the championship track and field meet, see the report in the Cal State L.A. Athletics Department website.
