"See History in a New Way" at Cal State L.A.
What & Who:
The Women's Resource Center at California State
University, Los Angeles will host a month of events to commemorate 1996 Women's History Month. This year's theme is "See History in a New Way."
Monday, February 26 - Friday, April 12, 1996.
Kick-off celebration: Tuesday, February 27, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Cal State L.A. Union Walkway. The University is located
at the Eastern Avenue exit, San Bernardino (I-10) Fwy., at the
interchange of the 10 and 710 Fwys.
Scheduled events include seminars and lectures, book displays,
film, art exhibits and musical performances.
Other sponsors for the event are CSLA Art Department, Associated
Students Inc., Center for Student Life, Commission on the Status
of Women, Graduate Student Art Council, History Department, Modern
Languages and Literatures Department, Publications/Public Affairs,
Residence Life and Housing Services, Student Caucus of the Commission
on the Status of Women, S.U.P.E.R., University-Student Union,
and the University Times.
