Discover Worlds of Fun and Opportunities at
Cal State L.A.'s Open House, Saturday, April 13

The free day includes a world music festival, games, food booths, tours, prizes and more

Los Angeles, CA -- A fun-filled day of free events for the entire community will be held on Saturday, April 13 on the campus of Cal State L.A., as part of “Eagle Fest”—a University-wide open house.

Among the day’s festivities are a fair featuring student clubs and organizations, college tours for prospective students and their families, faculty-presented “magical” experiments and hands-on workshops, martial arts demonstration, raffles and giveaways, game and food booths, and much more. Universal rhythms from Cal State L.A.’s annual World Music Festival will also excite the senses. The scheduled performers include: CSULA’s Latin Jazz Ensemble (Latin jazz), Fred Walker (jazz), Slowrider (Latin rock), and Susie Hansen (salsa). WHERE:
Cal State L.A., Eastern Ave. exit of San Bernardino (10) freeway, at the intersection of the 10 and 710 freeways. Events will take place throughout the University’s campus.
