AMONG THE TOP 100 Other CSU campuses in the "Top 100" are: CSU Fullerton, San Jose State University, CSU Long Beach, San Diego State University, San Francisco State University, CSU Northridge, Cal Poly Pomona, CSU Sacramento, CSU Fresno, CSU Dominguez Hills, CSU Hayward, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and CSU San Bernardino. Minority student categories include Black, non-Hispanic; American Indian or Alaskan Native; Asian or Pacific Islander; and Hispanic. The CSU is one of the most diverse higher education institutions in the nation with minority enrollment at 53 percent, more than twice the national average for four-year public universities. In fact, seven of the nation's top 20 universities in number of baccalaureate degrees awarded to minorities are CSU institutions. The CSU is the largest four-year university system in the country. More than 41,500 faculty and staff teach and serve more than 370,000 students on 23 CSU campuses and six off-campus centers extending from Humboldt in the north to San Diego in the south. Annually, about half the bachelor's degrees and a third of the master's degrees awarded in California are from the CSU.
