Los Angeles, California -- January 25, 1996 -- A new study of rebuilding efforts in South Central Los Angeles, in the aftermath of the civil unrest following the Rodney King police brutality trial, claims that a number of popular notions about the region are nothing but "myths."
Professors Tom Larson and Miles Finney of Economics in the School of Business and Economics at California State University, Los Angeles, and RLA CEOLinda Griego next week will unveil the study, "Rebuilding South Central Los Angeles: Myths, Realities and Opportunities."
