California State University, Los Angeles is celebrating the traditional Mexican holiday, Dia De Los Muertos, which features Aztec dancers, visual arts and ofrendas (offerings) to the dead.

Cal State L.A. Free Speech Area. The University is located at the Eastern Ave. exit, San Bernardino (I-10) Fwy., at the interchange of the 10 and 710 Fwys.
Dia De Los Muertos, as practiced in the United States, reflects a merger of ancient, pre-Hispanic beliefs about life and death and the Spanish Catholic influences, which introduced All Saints Day and All Souls Day after the Spanish Conquest.
