Mitchie Pardilla is a communication studies major at CSULA. She was previously an intern for the Office of Public Affairs in the summer of 2012, and was recently rehired to work with the Divisions of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs to promote the Here 4 You campaign. Prior to CSULA, Mitchie served as features editor for Citrus College’s Clarion Newspaper in spring 2010. She holds three associates degrees in business, liberal arts, and social and behavioral science. Mitchie has volunteered for the Boys and Girls Club, Azusa City Library, the Asia Pacific AIDS intervention team and more. Mitchie has always been a passionate individual who sees communication as an essential life skill. She hopes to work in an organization to inspire and make a positive impact on society through effective communication. She enjoys helping students learn about the numerous resources that are available at Cal State L.A.
Seu Na Park is a nursing graduate student at Cal State L.A. She was born in South Korea and grew up in Guatemala. She came to California to pursue a higher education. Helping others is one of her main goals. Due to her exposure to different cultures, she hopes to utilize her language skills (speaks English, Spanish and Korean) as a nurse practitioner to provide culturally sensitive care and make a positive impact in the diverse population in the United States. Prior to CSULA, she graduated cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at CSU Long Beach. Through her experiences, she has learned to adapt and adjust quickly to succeed. While working to achieve academic success, she has been involved in the community, volunteering in such organizations as American Red Cross, CoachArt, Salvation Army, Honor Society Phi Theta Kappa, and Long Beach Rotaract. Last December, Seu Na was hired to promote awareness of student resources through the ‘Here 4 You’ campaign.
