Cal State L.A. University Police Department is seeking your assistance regarding the following incident.
Summary: |
On Thursday, December 7, at 11:53 PM, victim and witness were walking on the sidewalk along Building #5 and Paseo Rancho Castillo. They saw suspect #1 walking ahead of them and into the entrance, which leads into Building #5. In this portion of the Student Housing Complex, there is a 6 foot high concrete wall with an entrance that leads into Building #5. When victim and witness walked through the entrance, suspect #1 jumped from behind the concrete wall, and grabbed victim’s purse. Victim struggled to hold on to her purse, until suspect #1 forcefully took victim’s purse away from her. Suspect #1 was last seen running with the victim’s property in a northeasterly direction across Paseo Rancho Castillo, through the open utility field and out of sight. Victim refused any type of medical attention for the abrasion she sustained. |

Male/Hispanic/Adult - approximately 25-30 years old, approximately 5’11” tall, 140 lbs., with a mustache, wearing a dark blue cap, a long sleeve white shirt with a dark blue t-shirt over it, and blue jeans, no further description. |
