KIDNAPPING/ROBBERY
Cal State L.A. University Police Department is seeking your assistance regarding the following incident:

Summary: |
Victim: 18 Year Old, Male, High School of the Arts student. Victim was approached by suspect. Suspect opened his jacket, displayed a silver object, which appears to be an ice pick. Suspect makes threats and intimidates victim to walk to MTA Busway. Suspect tells victim not to scream, run, talk to anyone, or say anything. Suspect demands money from victim and victim refused. Suspect punched victim in stomach and on the side of his head. Victim feared for his life and handed suspect his wallet. Suspect takes cash from the wallet. Suspect was last seen going down the south stairwell and out of view (MTA Busway Eastbound Terminal). Victim was examined by Cal State LA Health Center medical professionals and he was released. Detectives are in the process of arranging with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to obtain a composite sketch of the suspect. The composite sketch will be posted on the Cal State LA University’s Website upon completion. |
Suspect(s) Description: |
Male/Hispanic, late 20’s, 5-11 to 6-0, 200-210 pounds, goatee, shaved head, brown eyes. Wearing: Black LA Dodger baseball cap with a black logo, black and red jacket no logos seen, black baggy pants and black “Nike” tennis shoes. |
