Tour the Hughes "High Bay" and learn about communications satellites and how they are made.

Meet practicing women engineers and discuss their work with them. Learn their reasons for studying engineering.

Enjoy Hughes Hospitality, including lunch and gifts. Tour organized by Mr. Ray Shibata, project manager in the Space Integration and and Structure Business Unit at Hughes Space and Communications Group. Mr Shibata is a member of the CSULA Mechanical Engineering Advisory Board.

 

CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION AND CONTEST PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED AT THIS SESSION.

For most participants of the previous "Mother-Daughter Workshops", this was the favorite session.
