Housing Services Office
The Housing Services office located in Phase II provides a number of services for students. We can help you apply to live on campus, assist with lock outs, lost keys, checking in or out of your apartment, maintenance concerns, meeting room space reservations, conduct issues, room/apartment transfers, program/event questions, conference and guest housing accommodations, as well as billing and questions about your student account.
In Phase II you will also find the Phase II mail boxes, vending machines, Mail Room where you can pick up packages and mail that requires special handling, Dining Room, Lounge, Conference Room, Basketball Court as well as five laundry facilities (one in each building).
The Community Center at the Golden Eagles Apartments (GEA) has laundry facilities and a Residence Life office.

Community Information Center (CIC)
The Community Information Center located in Phase I provides a number of services after hours when the Housing Services office is closed. If you need advice or directions, a Resident Assistant (RA) is usually on duty at the CIC to help. The RA on duty also checks in conference guests, deals with emergencies, and provides general information about Housing and CSULA. The RA can loan out items, such as a vacuum and equipment to play billiards and ping-pong. If you need quarters for laundry, you can stop by the CIC. Next to the CIC, you will find the Computer Lab, Game Room, Phase I Laundry Room, a water machine, and the Phase I mail boxes.

Computer Lab
The Computer Lab is located in the Phase I Community Center. It has 10 computer stations, a scanner and printer. All of the computers are equipped with USB ports.

Game Room
The Game Room is located in Phase I Community Center. Here you can find recreational equipment including a pool table, ping pong table, and foosball table. The Game Room is also the host site for tournaments throughout the year. If you have any questions, stop by the Game Room or call (323) 343-4800.

Basketball Court
The Basketball Court is located in Phase II, behind Building 5. To relax, students can play basketball on the outdoor court, specially lighted for night use. Lights go off at 10:00 pm.
Grocery Run Shuttle Service (Academic Year Only)
Need a ride to the market? Take our FREE Grocery Run Shuttle Service to local markets. You can catch the shuttle in front of the Phase II Housing Services office from 10 am to 2 pm. The shuttle only makes return trips from 1 pm to 2 pm.

Laundry Facilities
Laundry Rooms are available throughout Phase I, II and at the Golden Eagles Apartments (GEA). The Phase I Laundry Room is located in the Community Information Center (CIC). The Phase II Laundry Rooms are located on the 1st floor of Building 1-5. The GEA Laundry Room is located in the Community Center. In Phase I and II, the washers and dryers use quarters. To exchange dollars into quarters, stop by the CIC in Phase I. The machines at GEA use debit cards.
Hot Spots / Wi-Fi Network
Residents now have free wireless access to the internet 24 hours a day. Hot Spots in Housing are Located in the Phase I Game Room and the Phase II Lounge. For additional information, please go to: http://www.calstatela.edu/its/wireless
Direct TV Service & Housing Channel
The Housing Channel provides the community with relevant University and Housing related information. Also, during the academic year (fall, winter, spring), residents can enjoy movies on the Housing Channel in the comfort of their own home, free of charge. A wide range of movies are selected to reflect current events, holidays, special programming, and newly released films. Residents are encouraged to submit movie requests to the Housing Office. Residents must bring in their own television.
Vending Machines
Beverage and snack machines are located in Phase I and II Community Centers. A water machine is located near the Phase I Laundry Room. All are accessible 24 hours per day. Please be advised that Housing Services is not responsible for any money lost in the vending machines. If you lose your money, please call (323) 268-7632 for refund information.
Direct Deposit
You are encouraged to sign up for Direct Deposit as a faster way of getting your financial aid disbursement or tuition refund electronically deposited to a valid U.S. checking or savings account. Another benefit of Direct Deposit is that If you have a deposit coming your way after you move out, you can get your deposit faster.
