The Move Out form needs to be filled out by students departing from Housing. It is used to forward residents’ mail for 4 weeks after moving out and to refund the deposit (if they do not owe any money when moving out).
Please follow these steps if you will be moving out of the housing complex and have no plans to return to on-campus housing:
1. Print and return the Move-out paperwork and do the online Exit Survey before moving out.
2. Remove all of your belongings, clean your apartment and return both keys to the Housing Services office. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of a portion, or all, of your security deposit and may also result in additional charges being assessed to your student account. If the office is closed, place your keys in an addressed envelope (Name and Apt #) and place them in the drop box located on the exterior wall of the Phase II Community Center (the wall closest to the mailroom).
