8 Basic Rules for Healthy Living
Overview
The Student Health Center’s health educators, psychological counselors, and director are available to present guest lectures and workshops related to a number of health issues. Topics include dating/domestic violence, depression and suicide, diabetes, healthcare management, HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, nutrition and fitness, sexual assault/rape, sexuality, stress management, and other issues. Presentations can be tailored to course objectives/audience interests.

8 Basic Rules for Healthy Living is our most popular guest lecture. This presentation provides realistic tips that assist students in choosing, achieving, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The lecture covers alcohol and other drug use, nutrition and fitness, relationships and relationship violence, safer sex, sleep habits, stress management, and Student Health Center services.
Domestic and Sexual Violence
The Student Health Center’s health educators are available to conduct presentations on various aspects of dating/domestic violence, sexual assault/rape, and stalking.
Wellness Workshop Series
