The Health Promotion and Education Center’s health educators assist students with choosing, achieving and maintaining positive health goals.

The Center offers information, counseling, support, resources, and/or referral services for:

  • Alcohol and other drugs

  • Contraception

  • Dating and domestic violence

  • Eating disorders

  • HIV and other sexually transmitted infections

  • Nutrition and fitness

  • Relationships

  • Self-esteem

  • Sexual assault and rape

  • Sexual harassment

  • Sexual health

  • Smoking cessation

  • Stalking

  • Stress management

  • And other health issues

 

 

The Health Promotion and Education Center is located on the second floor of the Student Health Center in Room 215.  The Center is open Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.  Walk-ins are welcome.  Call (323) 343-3340 for more information.  Call (323) 343-3302 to schedule a confidential appointment.
