Perpetrators may be able to monitor their victim’s computer
and Internet
activities (as well as other technologies such as cell phones).
It may be safer to look for
information on a computer belonging to a trusted friend, at a
University Open Access Lab,
at the Student Health Center,
or other computer a perpetrator does not have access to. For more

The Health
Promotion and Education Center offers confidential services and resources for
students who are victims of dating/domestic violence, sexual assault,
sexual harassment, stalking, and other violence:

victims of dating/domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

and off-campus medical, counseling, and other services for victims.

Contact a
local 24-hour hotline and treatment center.

File a
complaint with the University for campus-related incidents.

Request a
change in student housing or class schedule.

Pursue civil
prosecution.
For further
assistance, rape crisis centers are available throughout California. Many of
these agencies also provide services for victims of dating/domestic violence
and stalking. Each agency offers
24-hour hotlines,
accompaniment for hospital/law enforcement/court appearances, and short-term
confidential counseling.
