ELIGIBILITY

Currently Enrolled Students:
All currently enrolled students, regardless of class load, are entitled to use the Student Health Center services.  Students enrolled at one Cal State L.A. campus are eligible for basic health services provided by other Cal State L.A.,  Student Health Centers at no additional cost.  Proof of enrollment must be shown before receiving services.

Students taking off one quarter:
With proof of enrollment during the previous quarter, students may elect to pay the mandatory health fee and be eligible for services throughout the quarter, see Fee Information.

Students off for two or more consecutive quarters:
Students are not eligible for services. Copies of medical records may be requested to take to private medical providers. The Medical Records Office will assist you.

Extension/Open University Students:
Extension and Open University students are eligible for services and are charged a nominal fee per visit, see Fee Information. Eligibility is limited to currently enrolled students.

Special Programs:
Students attending special programs such as Summer Bridge, Japanese Institute, Young Scholars, etc., are provided first aid services only.   Special arrangements may be made by institute administration for additional services.

Faculty and Staff:
Faculty and staff are eligible for first aid for workers' compensation incidents.
