How to Use
Student Health Center Services?
Choices
The Student Health Center offers three choices to access most
SHC services. Whenever possible plan ahead and you will find
that your waiting time is greatly reduced.
1
Future Appointments:
This option is used for non-urgent problems such as routine pap smears,
fatigue, hay fever, physical examinations, personal counseling, acne,
etc.
To make an appointment, call (323) 343-3302 or use the appointment telephone located on the first floor of the Student Health Center.
Please feel free to ask the appointment coordinator any questions you have regarding your future appointment.
Of course, it is important that you report for your appointment on time or call to cancel or reschedule if necessary.
2
Same Day Appointments:
Same day appointments can be made in person or by calling (323)
343-3303. Same day appointments are based on the urgency of the problem
and provider availability.
3 Express Care Clinic (Walk-In):
A screening nurse will determine the need for students to be seen in the
Express Care Clinic. Patients are seen on a first-come-first-served
basis except for emergency first aid cases that are handled immediately.
Nurses are available to assist students requesting immunizations, TB skin tests, laboratory testing for a class requirement, pregnancy tests, etc. in the Express Care Clinic.
ALL FEES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
