Door Access
Door Access is an integrated access management system hosted by the Golden Eagle Service Center (GESC). Certain classrooms are installed with card readers and electrified locks.
Authorization & Activation
Authorization
Departments requesting a door access classroom for their faculty/staff must have prior approval from the scheduling office.
Activation
The GESC is responsible for activating the privilege and PIN for door access users. Once proper approval is obtained by the scheduling office an email must be sent to the GESC.

New Participants
Cal State L.A. One Card is Required
A faculty member, staff or student assigned to a door access classroom must possess a Cal State L.A. One Card to gain entry into the room.
Permanent Identification Number
New participants must visit the GESC to select a 4-digit PIN. This will be the number you input after swiping the One Card. For security purposes, selecting or changing PIN's can only be done in person.
Interior Alarm Code
Certain classrooms have an interior alarm that must be deactivated and activated upon entrance and exit. This code can only be given in person at the GESC.

Returning Participants
Participants who have used a door access room before DO NOT have to visit the GESC to have their cards reactivated. They can continue to use the same card and PIN.

The Cal State L.A. One Card is the property of Cal State L.A. and is non-transferable.
Use of the Card constitutes acceptance to all the University rules, regulations, and procedures.
