• Graduate student in Special Education
• Advanced degree or certification objective

Susan Beyer Nichols Fellowship
• Graduate in Special Education – ECE option
• 3.0 GPA; full-time status

Nina Elloway Putnam Memorial
• Graduate student in Special Education
• 3.0 GPA for the 24 undergraduate units or 12 graduate units; full-time status
• Demonstrate progress toward degree or credential

The Siegel Scholarship
• Student enrolled in Visually Impairment and Blindness teacher preparation program
• Employed by LAUSD vision program
• 3.0 GPA
• Must agree to teach students who are multi-handicapped-blind

The Windmuller Family Scholarship
• Undergraduate or graduate students in credential and MA in the Special Education Mild to Moderate program intending to teach children with learning disabilities, mental retardation, and behavior disorders
• A GPA of 3.2 for most recent year of coursework
• Financial need
• Preference given to students who graduated from a high school or college in East Los Angeles
• Application essay must include teaching goals and show a commitment to serving children with disabilities.
• Candidates must meet the spirit, if not the specifics, of the criteria
