The curators of the Axis Mundo exhibit will discuss the people, places, events, and art work of queer Chicano artists from the late 1960s to the early 1990s. Many of the artists hail from our surrounding communities and their work makes visible the “queer networks” forged across this time frame and weaves through the Chicano and LGBT movements.
