An eight-session, trauma-informed program that emphasizes process, not performance. It pairs collective drumming with therapy to build core social-emotional strengths. Preparing for and taking tests is an anxiety-producing experience for many college students that may result in lower than expected grades. Being an effective test-taker involves more than just knowing the subject matter; being an effective test-taker involves knowing and applying test-taking skills. This presentation will offer some suggestions for reducing this anxiety through learning effective test-taking skills. Handouts will be provided. In 2011, the director of the International Monetary Fund was accused of sexual assault by a hotel maid, Nafissatou Diallo, but all charges were dismissed. We, the invisibles, by Susan Soon He Stanton, introduces hotel workers like Diallo who have come to New York from all over the globe. This play is an investigation of the complicated relationship between the movers and shakers and the people who change their sheets.
