Definition: English 102 Requirement - A composition II course required for a CSLA degree as of Summer 1993 quarter. A prerequisite for some courses (e.g., UNIV 400 WPE) depending on whether the student's G.E. catalog date is prior to 1993-95, or 1993-95 or later.

Beginning Summer quarter 1993, two composition courses became the requirement for students who have a 1993-95 or later G.E. catalog date. The courses are ENGL 101 - Composition I (A G.E. Block A1 required course), and ENGL 102 - Composition II, a university degree required course. English 190 has been deleted.
