Finances
International (visa) students are subject to nonresident tuition and are required to certify that sufficient funds will be available to them during their stay in the United States for schooling. Please review the CSULA Affidavit of Financial Support for minimum funds needed to study at the University.
Cal State L.A. is unable to offer financial assistance to international students. Assistantships, scholarships, and fellowships usually are not available to California nonresidents. Current Immigration and Naturalization Service policy does not permit international students to obtain work permits and be employed in the United States. Information about possible sources of financial aid may be obtained from the nearest office of the Institute of International Education or an American consulate. |
