The Tutoring position will CLOSE on Friday, February 17, 2017.  All applications must be submitted to the Career Center by this date.

Instructional Student Assistant Position Announcement: Job Posting

If the position is closed and you would like to indicate your interest in becoming a tutor, please submit the following two documents. 

1. Tutor Applicant's Course and Cal State LA Faculty Reference List: Download the reference list

2. Current resume

Submit the two documents directly to the University Tutorial Center, John F. Kennedy Library, Palmer Wing, Room 1062A.  Periodically check at the Career Development Center or online at EagleJobs to see if the position is opened.  If posted at the Career Development Center and online at EagleJobs, you will need to complete a Student Employment Application at the Career Development Center.

If the position is open and posted at the Career Development Center and online at EagleJobs and you would like to apply, (1) complete the Student Employment Application (available online at Career Development Center website at www.calstatela.edu/univ/cdc or at the Career Development Center) and submit directly to the Career Development Center.  Submit (2) your completed Tutor Applicant's Course and Cal State LA Faculty Reference List along with (3) your current resume directly to the University Tutorial Center, John F. Kennedy Library, Palmer Wing, Room 1062A.

Once your Student Employment Application, Tutor Applicant's Course and Cal State LA Faculty Reference List, and current resume are received, your forms will be placed in a tutor pool for review.  Please be informed that submitting all the required forms does not guarantee that you will be called for an interview.
