On October 8, 2009, the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Los Angeles discovered
that unencrypted personal data was accessible through a faculty member's Web site.
The files included names and Social Security numbers of 82 students who had taken CIS 454 and 528 in Spring 2002
and CIS 283 and 585 in Spring 2003. In addition, the personal data of three faculty members was also accessible
on the Web site. The College of Business and Economics at California State University, Los Angeles is notifying
the students and faculty.
