The Cal State LA PREM program involves investigators from Cal State LA and PSU in a partnership focusing on materials research and educational activities. It is centered around the design, development, discovery, study, and application of new materials and their properties via four collaborative research and educational themes. Dr. Frank A. Gomez is the PI of the PREM program and Dr. Vin Crespi is the Director of the PSU MRSEC. They work together to provide students the best interdisciplinary research and educational experience possible to fulfill the goals of the program.
