The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Program is a 40-hour online training program designed to meet the content knowledge set out by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) for RBT certification, and is based upon the Registered Behavior Technician Task List. The program is designed to explain applied behavior analysis and provide students with an understanding of the topics and tasks they will be learning and doing as behavior service providers. It also helps students develop their application abilities and pass the certification exam to become competent RBTs.
This online training program was developed by an author of one of the only textbooks for RBTs.
The training covers the following topics: Measurement, Assessment, Skill Acquisition, Behavior Reduction, Documentation and Reporting, and Professional Conduct and Scope of Practice as is based upon the BACB RBT Task List.
WHO SHOULD ENROLL
This self-paced online training program through Moodle is ideal for students who provide direct services through a behavioral agency or school district and high school or undergraduate students looking for a career in helping professionals, parents with children with developmental disabilities, or anyone who may be interested in obtaining their RBT certification.
Note: Students must successfully pass the RBT 7300 course in order to complete the online training program.
