The certificate provides comprehensive educational and technological knowledge, tools, and recources to help both in-service and pre-service teachers for their much needed technological skill set development and its utilization in classrooms."

Intel® Teach is a proven program that helps K-12 teachers integrate technology effectively into classrooms and promote student-centered approaches, engaging students in learning and preparing them with critical skills for success in our digital world. The certificate program is comprised of a series of six fully online courses and in-person professional development to form the program’s unique 1-Year Cohort Model, which provides high-quality online multimedia content, workshops and professional development support to educators in order to immediately enrich the application of all learned digital techniques.

“The College of Professional and Global Education is excited to partner with the Charter College of Education and Intel® to provide teachers with the training they need to ensure that their students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to succeed in the information age. Connecting the University’s resources with the needs of the community is at the heart of what we do," stated Associate Dean of PaGE, Justin Cassity.

Starting in May 2015, the inaugural cohort will attend a Kick-off Conference, which will provide educators the opportunity to expand their network, engage new mentors and take part in discussions regarding technology in education.
