OSD Open House

The OSD, located in the Administration Building: Room 127, will be holding an open house on Thursday, September 8th from 2 to 4 pm. The campus is invited and light refreshments will be provided.

Abilities Awareness Week

October 24th to October 28th, the OSD will celebrate Abilities Awareness week, join us for a series of informative and inspirational presentations. Download the Abilities Awareness Week Flyer.

Promotion of events for Ability Awareness Week
12:00 PM - 2:00 PM on the main walkway
OSD will provide the campus community with information pertaining to all of the week's events.

Tuesday, Oct.25
OSD "Limitless Abilities" Festival
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM in the U-SU Plaza
The campus community will come together to share and highlight different programs, departments and services. 

Wednesday, Oct. 26
"Limitless Scavenger Hunt"
12:00 PM - 2:00 PM on the main walkway
Have some fun while exploring and learning about the diversity of different disabilities by visiting activity stations. After visiting each station, you will receive a stamp to become eligible to receive a prize. 

Thursday, Oct. 27
Disability Disclosure and Reasonable Accommodation in the Workplace
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM in the U-SU Alhambra Room
Expert help on understanding workplace disability rights and accommodations in the workplace. This will help answer if, when, and how you should disclose your disability to a potential employer. Presented by the WorkAbility IV program. Refreshments will be provided.

Career Fair
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM in the Golden Eagle Ballroom
Hiring Veteran's and Persons with Disabilities, who are pursuing College Education and Professional Careers. Government Agencies and Federal Contractors will be present! For more about this event: Career Fair Flyer.​
