Welcome to the Society Of Women Engineers organization student chapter of California State University, Los Angeles.

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE), founded in 1950, is a non-profit educational and service organization. The SWE chapter at CSULA seeks to help support women in the studies of Engineering, and helps them progress and further their education in the field. Our mission is to stimulate women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders and help expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life. SWE also has male members that help support the organization and support the number one goal for SWE, which is to demonstrate the value of diversity. The objective is to open the doors of SWE to young women so that they know of the many great opportunities available to women engineers.
